Forward tandem Brett Milward and Nick Merritt put in a pair of stellar performances to buoy Pinjarra to a sizable victory over Waroona in teammate Paul Galloway's 100th league game on Sunday.
The Tigers absorbed an early challenge from their hosts at Parnell Street Oval, but were able to eventually outclass the Demons on the back of a combined 11 goals from their new dynamic duo to win 7.7 (49) to 18.8 (116).
Milward bagged six in a dominant display up front for the reigning premiers, while Merritt wasn't far behind with five of his own.

But it was Waroona controlling the game in the early goings, with efforts from Jordann Ness and Bailey Taylor resulting in Rocky Caruso snaring the first goal of the day.
Milward had an instant response at the ready when some brilliance from Mackenzie O'Brien saw him run into the open goal, but Caruso created the Demons' second when his attack on the footy resulted in a major for teammate Jack Strand.
Pinjarra eventually wrestled momentum back but some stout play from Mat Thomas deep in defence kept the goals at bay until he and Merritt got tied up in the dying stages of the first.
The star Tigers forward converted his first for the day after taking a solid grab, and his second followed immediately after Thomas was stung for a downfield free kick for contact off the ball.
His back-to-back majors gave Pinjarra a seven-point lead at the first change, which stretched out when they kept their rivals scoreless in the second while piling on four goals.
Galloway celebrated with teammates after recording a goal in his milestone match, with Milward, Merritt and Robert Bird following as Mackenzie and Brock O'Brien dominated around the ground.
By half time the Tigers lead was at 33, and the outlook was grim for the Demons when Dylan Rozman and Milward opened the third term.
Eli Smith and Zac Moody worked hard to help Rhys Anzellino and Rowan Gardiner convert back-to-back goals for the home side, but Pinjarra still found a way to tack 10 more points onto their lead by the end of the period.
The sting had well and truly left the game by the fourth quarter, as Pinjarra piled four goals onto Waroona's one coming through Bailey Taylor.
Milward fittingly iced the game with the final major, gifting his side a 67-point victory.
The win keeps the Tigers unbeaten through three matches, while Waroona slips to sixth on the ladder with a 1-2 record.
Pinjarra will take on Rockingham in a battle of the league's only undefeated teams in round four, while Waroona hits the road to take on Halls Head.
