Baldivis forwards Joel Ritchie and Blaine Johnson recorded 10 goals between them as the Brumbies overcame some spirited challenges from Halls Head in their Anzac Day clash on Thursday night.
The two booted six and four goals respectively while ruckman Josh Branchi received the best afield medal as the Brumbies kept the Lightning goalless in the final term to claim a 9.6 (60) to 14.14 (98) win.
The match was a roller coaster ride as Baldivis shot out of the gates booting five goals to zip in the first term.
It was a twist of form for Halls Head, who had dominated the opening quarter in their first two games of the season.
Ritchie got things rolling for the visiting side with three goals in the first term, while Johnson accounted for the remaining two as the Brumbies cantered into the first break with a 35-point buffer.

But Halls Head miraculously fired back with a six-goal run of their own to pinch the lead in the second term.
Newcomer Kyren Gavin booted their first goal in his first game for the Lightning, while Liam Lockley, Luke Humphries, Greg Nelson, Jared Middleton and Chris Howat all got on the board as Halls Head took a two-point lead in the middle of the quarter.
But Baldivis then returned serve, with Ritchie bagging his fourth to spark another five-goal run that would see the guests lead by 28 points at half time, despite Halls Head's monumental efforts to claw back into the game.
That lead was cut down to 20 as the home side booted three goals to Baldivis' zip in the third, but the Brumbies conjured another to response to keep their hosts goalless in the fourth.
Ritchie piled on a further two goals in the final term while Johnson bagged another to cap off their big days, securing the victory.
Branchi proved a force around the ground, booting a goal and finishing with the best afield honours.
The Brumbies take on Mandurah in what looms as an epic contest in round four, while Halls Head will still be searching for their first win when they play Waroona.
