A DYER Street, Rupanyup house fire has been brought under control less than an hour after emergency services reached the scene.  District 17 Country Fire Authority operations manager Trevor Ebbles said they received a call at 8.31am Tuesday morning.  He said crews were on scene at 8.36am, with the fire under control by 9.20am. Mr Ebbles said nine authority vehicles attended the scene including field command. He said police, Powercor and Ambulance Victoria attended the scene. The cause of the fire is not yet known, with the fire investigation team being called in to examine the scene. He said two people evacuated the premise, with no injuries sustained. “People were home at the time of the incident,” he said. Mr Ebbles said the fire was contained to a single property and did not spread.
