Singleton Primary School will be performing at the Wakakirri West Australian awards night after winning a dance category, out of 235 competing schools.
The school won best dance for their performance of Ngort Koondaam – Dragonfly Dreaming, a tale from the billabong set in the lands of the Noongar people.
Hundreds of primary and secondary students have performed dances reflecting their thoughts through dance and drama, in the lead up to the competition.

The awards night for the 2018 Wakakirri Story Dance Challenge will be held at the Regal Theatre on September 6.
