Police are on the lookout for the occupants of two vehicles they believe could assist with their investigation into a serious assault in Greenfields last week.
A 45-year-old woman was left with serious head injuries when a man through a socket extender through the window of her car on Murdoch Drive near Bortolo Park last Tuesday.
The woman attended Peel Health Campus where she received 18 staples in her head.

Now detectives believe there was a dispute involving two vehicles near Murdoch Drive around the time of the incident, and that those involved may be able to assist them.
One of the cars is described as a silver/grey Holden Commodore sedan, possibly a 2000s VX model.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a light skinned woman, in her 30s with a medium build, short mousey/blonde hair cut short at the back and sides, similar to an undercut.
