Mandurah will play host to an exciting event on Friday, June 21 when the Future Vehicles Expo drives into town.
Showcasing all the latest and greatest in the future of transport, the exhibition offers a chance to get up close to a range of incredible, high-tech vehicles including cars, bikes and buses and everything in between.
Companies will set up at Mandjar Square between 10am and 2pm on Friday to demonstrate some of the best top-of-the-line technologies coming soon to a road near you.
The featured display will include the Toyota Mirai, a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) which uses hydrogen as energy to generate electrical power.

The Australian Electric Vehicle Association will also have an information stand, bookings will be available for the RAC Intellibus and ATCO will host a hydrogen BBQ sausage sizzle.

Drop into the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre foyer for a schedule of speakers and learn from experts in a range of topics, including electric and driverless vehicles, trackless trams, fuel cell vehicles and the hydrogen economy.
Murdoch University senior lecturer Dr Martin Bruekner will speak at 10.30am about rethinking mobility for the 21st century, followed by ATCO's Russell James who will address the ATCO clean energy innovation hub at 10.50am and, from 11.10am, Hyundai western region business sales manager Chris Beaton will talk on the topic 'Driving for Change'.
After a short break, Western Power senior strategy analyst Lia Hilton will take to the microphone at 12.30pm to discuss preparing the grid to facilitate electric vehicles before RAC WA operations lead Julian Gomez speaks about RAC autonomous vehicle trials at 12.50pm.
From 1.10pm, Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute's Dr Mike Mouritz will address the new technology behind trackless trams before Synergy new energy coordinator Patrick Whitfield talks about new energy and electric vehicles.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the speakers throughout the day.
