Wearable Art Mandurah's epic showcase is back for another year with unique and extravagant garments again set to fill the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
Held on June 15 and 16, this year's display will feature more than 40 entries from across Australia as well as overseas including New Zealand, America and Romania.
Paired with a spectacular family-friendly production of music, theatre and dance, the awards showcase will highlight the amazing garments as living, breathing works of art for the body.
The 2019 showcase attracted 60 entries with the best 43 set to go through to the final round of judging at the event.
Making its debut in 2011, Wearable Art Mandurah had just 13 participants. It is now a well-known platform for professionals, amateurs, young people and people with disabilities to demonstrate their creativity.
Artists have been known to use everything from milk bottles, stubby coolers, mop heads, seaweed, bubble wrap, doilies, nappy liners, rubber gloves, dusk mask, x-rays, gum nuts and coffee pods to create revolutionary works of art.

"This year we're again very excited to be working with some outstanding people to help elevate the showcase to yet another level.
"If you haven't experienced Wearable Art before, I encourage you to bring your friends and family for a great night out."
