The winners of this year's Mandurah Rotary Duck Race have been crowned with a $5 ticket buying the first place victor a brand new car.
Crowds in their hundreds lined the Eastern Foreshore on Easter Saturday as thousands of pink and yellow plastic ducks flooded Mandurah's estuary for the annual races.
Kay Cruse claimed the top prize with her rubber duck crossing the finish line first in the regular race, and took home a car from Mandurah Kia.
Gabby Bielawski came in second, winning a $2000 diamond from Andrew Ralph's Diamond Jewellers while 10-year-old Mitchell Ward won a brand new kayak from Kayaks 4 U for coming in third.
First prize winner in the corporate race was Taste of Italy, followed by Dimes Electrical and Formula 1 Garage Doors.

Mandurah Rotary Duck Race event coordinator Greg Dalwood said their 10th annual event was their best one yet.
"Great day, weather was fantastic and the crowd was well up on previous years," he said.
"The winners were over the moon, they were just gobsmacked - people buy to make a donation, not expecting to win.
"We're extremely grateful to the community for supporting us in our projects and programs for the betterment and benefit of the people in Mandurah."
The family friendly day is a major fundraising effort by the Mandurah Districts Rotary Club with all proceeds donated back into a wide variety of local community projects.
Since its inaugural event in 1999, the club has raised almost $500,000.
Mr Dalwood said this year's main beneficiaries were local Surf Life Saving clubs and Mandurah organisations helping families who were doing it tough.
"Local sports and community organisations were selling duck race tickets of which they got half [the money] so we have $10,000 going to those groups," he said.
Some of the groups to benefit from the Duck Race this year include the Peel Aquatic Swimming Club, the Halls Head Bowling Club, the Mandurah Dragon Boat Club and Christ's Church Anglican Parish's youth program.
