Thousands of pink and yellow plastic ducks flooded Mandurah's estuary on Saturday afternoon for the 2019 Rotary Club Duck Race.

Crowds in their hundreds lined the Eastern Foreshore on Easter Saturday to watch the two races - a corporate and a regular race.

There was plenty of prizes up for grabs including a car, jewellery, travel vouchers and a kayak.

The family-friendly event had lots of activities for children including arts and crafts and mini golf.

There was also plenty of market stalls, food by local producers and live music and dancers by local entertainers.

The day is a major fundraising effort by Rotary and proceeds are donated back into a wide variety of local community projects.

More to come.
