Local seafood restaurant Redmanna have been recognised in the 2018 Kleenheat Gold Plate Awards, held in Perth on Monday night.
The highly awarded waterfront eatery beat East Perth’s 8 On The Point Chinese for the title of Best Seafood Dining.
The annual Gold Plate Awards event acknowledges outstanding quality and service provided by restaurants in Western Australia and is a well regarded hospitality industry awards program.
Hundreds of guests, sponsors and participants attended the function, now in its 52nd year at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 19.
In a statement on social media, Redmanna thanked staff and patrons for their support and “for being so amazing over the last 12 months”.
Redmanna also won the award in 2015 and 2017.

Sister restaurant, the Bridge Garden Bar and Restaurant, was also nominated for Best Restaurant Within a Tavern/Pub.
They went up against fellow finalists Steve’s Fine Wine & Food in Nedlands and Empire Bar in Lathlain and came second.
The overall 2018 Premier’s Award winner was Duncraig eatery Little H Café, which was recognised for the highest score across any category during the years of judging.
