The Ravenswood Hotel’s annual Chilli Festival is back and it’s hotter than ever.
Featuring taster plates, an extra spicy menu, hot condiments and of course chillis, the free event will take place on Saturday, November 24.
The festival will showcase market stalls with sauces, jams and jerky from a number of fine WA producers as well as a BBQ smoked section for the faint-hearted.
Running from 10am-4pm, the famous chilli eating competition will kick off at 3pm.
Ravenswood Hotel entertainment manager Dave Feenstra said people not prepared to take on the heat, can enjoy watching them suffer.
“From extreme heat to mild and flavoursome, there is something for everyone,” he said.
“This Chilli Festival has become one of the premiere events on WA's chilli calendar.
“It’s a heap of fun.”
The menu will again include ‘Western Australia’s hottest burger’ – the Devil’s Double Down.
