Thousands of competitors and supporters flooded Mandurah last week for the 2018 Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games.
After an outstanding opening ceremony on Sunday, October 28, competition got underway between athletes hailing from Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Caledonia, New Zealand and China.
Competitors took part in more than 50 sports over seven days, including crossfit, netball, swimming, surf lifesaving and, crowd favourite, fire fighter events.
WA Police commissioner Chris Dawson handed over the Games torch to New South Wales in preparation for the 2020 Wollongong APES Games at the closing ceremony on Saturday night.
Mandurah Mail reporters were across the competition each day snapping photos to bring readers all of the action.
