A fleeting moment of anger has left a Mandurah man with a bill exceeding $1000.
The Mandurah Magistrates Court was told James Edward Lankester was in a verbal argument with a female at Mandurah Train Station on the morning of March 20, which ended with the man punching a glass window.
The 25-year-old fled the scene, but later returned and admitted his guilt, the railway prosecution officer said.
Lankester, who was sentenced in his absence, was ordered to pay a $1063.29 fine and $190.85 costs.
