The City of Mandurah, WA Police and the Peel Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to present the Business Breakfast Forum at Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club on Friday, November 26, and local businesses are invited to attend.

The event aims to help local businesses get tips for improving their safety and security through building strong connection and networks.
Breakfast attendees will hear updates from the City, Mandurah District Office Superintendent John Leembruggen, Dawesville MLA Lisa Munday, as well as advice from Top Floor Nightclub Co-owner Mandi Gemmell, who also forms part of the Mandurah Liquor Accord and will discuss how Mandurah's safety and security has changed over the years.
Mandi will also share insights into the operational aspects of the night club and how safety is addressed as a top priority for staff, customers and community. Top Floor Nightclub representatives have been attending the Business Breakfast event for the last five years, with Mandi reporting that it is a good forum to connect and learn from other businesses in the area.
Mayor Rhys Williams said the Business Breakfast was one of the ways the City and local partners work together to create a connected, safe and secure community, which is important in the lead up to a busy Christmas and holiday period.
"The Business Breakfast is a great event as it allows our local business community to come together, hear from a range of community leaders, and share knowledge and tips around business safety and create a more connected city," he said.
"Businesses will be able to network with others, gain insight and share details of their own safety initiatives to ensure the upcoming summer season is safe and enjoyable for everyone."
The Breakfast will include a Q&A panel and door prizes. Registration is open at 7am for a 7.30am start.
