A new state-of-the-art hearing clinic was recently opened by Audika in Mandurah's southern suburbs.
Mandurah mayor, Rhys Williams, joined Audika's divisional sales and operations manager, James Humphrey, to cut the ribbon at the new clinic.
Mr Humphrey said the opening of the Erskine clinic was another milestone in Audika's journey to help more people hear better.
"Our team has been serving Mandurah and the Peel region for more than 30 years, and we're delighted to continue our presence in the area with the official opening of a newly refurbished clinic in the heart of Erskine," he said.
"At Audika, we believe that a focus on early intervention, expert assessment and tailored solutions leads to better long-term outcomes for our clients, which is why we have invested in a range of updated features and new technology to deliver the best possible hearing care for our clients."
Hearing loss is often referred to as a silent disability, affecting the daily lives of many, from those simple conversations with a loved one to daily interactions many people take for granted.
As part of Audika's commitment to help more people hear better, the company is delivering world-class hearing care through investments such as state-of-the-art soundproof testing facilities.
Mayor Williams had his own hearing tested as part of the opening and was full of praise for the staff at Audika.
"Mandurah's population is continuing to grow at a rapid pace and quality, accessible healthcare services are important in catering for the evolving needs of our local residents, close to home," Mayor Williams said.
"Audika is a welcome addition to our local business community and I congratulate the team on the opening of their new premises in Erskine."
