It was all smiles at the Peel Football and Netball League (PFNL) Awards night on Monday evening, which celebrated impressive footy players and volunteers in the Tuckey division and women's competition.
For the first time in its history, the PFNL held a separate presentation night so all nominees for Fairest and Best could be celebrated.
As the vote count started there were plenty of cheers from attendees when players from their team nabbed a vote.
The women's vote count was close as soon as it began with Ava Muir, Kerrilee Brown, Dakota Dal Bello and Victoria Riddiough being prominent players throughout the season.
In the end, Brown from South Mandurah took out Barry Butterworth Fairest and Best with 15 votes.
Muir from South Mandurah and Dal Bello from Rockingham came Runner Up Fairest and Best with 12 votes each.
