"It frightened the living daylight out of me and I couldn't tell what had happened," the resident who asked to be anonymous said.
The resident said an 18-year-old driver lost control of his car and ploughed into two units at 70a and 70b Ludlow Loop.
When they went outside they saw a young man in his ute had hit the unit in front, damaging the bedroom window and brickwork, his letterbox, cement and bushes were all damaged.
"It was a bit scary, I was shaking like a leaf for a few hours afterwards," they said.
They said the cement letterbox was smashed and they couldn't pick it up themselves to clean up.
They also said it could be Christmas by the time the insurance company fixes the damage.
Pinjarra police said the incident was put down to driver inexperienced in wet weather.
The 18-year-old driver received an infringement for careless driving.
