It has been a special few weeks for Mandurah Storm Rugby League team, with player Uni Clarke taking the field on the same day as his mother Tam Clarke.
What made it particularly monumental? It was his 100th game with the Storm.
The Val Murphy Round, which the Storm hosted on their home turf on Saturday, June 12, showcased games from both the men's and women's teams against the North Beach Sea Eagles.
Player Kaycee Yeates said rugby with the Storm was like family in "more ways than one" and recalled how the games reflected this sentiment.
Three players in the women's team Tiana Ivers, Wai Ayris and Tam Clarke all took the field to compete in their league game directly before their sons Jack Pepper, Vincent Ayris-King and Uni Clarke took the field for the men's game.
Mothers and sons posed together for a photo of the moment, which saw a few proud tears from onlookers.

For Tiana Ivers, Mandurah Storm isn't just a mother/son community - but one for the whole family.
Ivers plays alongside her daughter Mysteque in the women's league tag, while her youngest son Kane runs water for the team.
That's not all - Ivers' husband Paul is the club's personal photographer.
As the Mail has followed along with the Mandurah Storm journey the team has grown in size and heart.
A family game day for the Storm was fitting, since club president Kane Geary himself has played alongside his brothers since the inception of the seniors league team.
Geary said there was "always a Geary on the field" - with his brothers all joining him in the early days as he tried to meet the numbers to form a team.
As of this point in the league season, it is clear that Geary not only shares the field with his immediate family - he shares it with his other family, the Storm.
