Coles online and Coles supermarkets across WA, Victoria and Tasmania have issued a recall on 150g Coles Tasmanian smoked salmon after discovering that the product was incorrectly labelled with a use-by date of April 7, 2023 instead of May 7, 2021.
A Coles representative has said that while the product was currently safe to eat, customers should not consume the product beyond the correct use by date of May 7, 2021.
Coles brand Tasmanian and cold smoked salmon products available in other sizes are safe to consume.
Customers can receive a full refund or credit by contacting Coles online customer care on 1800 455 400.
Coles has issued an apology to customers for any inconvenience.
