Premier Mark McGowan visited Pinjarra on Thursday to unveil the Plan for Peel under a re-elected Labor government.
The plan itself builds on a number of projects already announced, including the $152 million Peel Health Campus redevelopment, the Lakelands train station, and the Dwellingup Adventure Trails project.
Projects announced for the first time were a $10 million investment for a new Peel Food and Technology facility, road and rail crossing upgrades for Cookernup, Coolup and Waroona, a Munday Avenue extension, a $3 million Dawesville Community Centre, and STEM classrooms for local high schools.

Mr McGowan said the Food and Technology facility would create "a new industry for the area".
"This is a comprehensive plan for the future - it means whether it's health, education, transport, community services, the Peel region is going to benefit if the government is re-elected," he said.
"We are announcing $10 million for a new Peel Food and Technology facility, which is an advanced manufacturing project in the Nambeelup Business Park.
"That will mean businesses can can have support via infrastructure and assistance to set up there and do advanced food technology and advanced food manufacturing.
"This is a great agricultural region and we have to do more down strength processing."
Murray-Wellington MP Robyn Clarke said the road upgrades was something the community had been wanting for a long time.
"There is road upgrades along Binningup, Myalup, Preston beach and also at Forestry road intersection where there will be run on lanes now for coastal towns, which is something the community has been crying out for many, many years," she said.
"We are opening up access to the back of the Pinjarra industrial area - for the industrial park in Pinjarra those businesses will now have access to Forrest highway and to South West highway without having to come out on Pinjarra road."
Dawesville Labor candidate Lisa Munday said she was especially excited about the Dawesville Community Centre announcement.
"I'm excited for Dawesville to get the community centre so people who find it hard to get into town have the opportunity to get the resources that side of Mandurah."

On Thursday night, Mandurah MP David Templeman and Mrs Munday also made an election commitment of $10,000 to help fund a new hybrid cricket pitch at Falcon Oval.
