Mandurah will once again play host to AFL pre-season action in 2021, with the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers set to lock horns at David Grays Arena.
The AAMI Community Series match has become a tradition in Mandurah, with the two clubs frequenting the Rushton Park venue in recent years.
From 2019:
Last year saw Fremantle host Carlton at Mandurah's premier facility, with the Dockers scoring a 47-point win on the back of electrifying performances from then-new recruits James Aish and Blake Acres.
The game this year will give local Dockers and Eagles fans a glimpse into what their side has planned for the upcoming season.
Many fresh-faced draftees and new recruits will get the chance to showcase their wares.
No doubt Fremantle fans will be eager to see first-round draft choice Heath Chapman in action, while West Coast supporters may get a glimpse of new recruit Alex Witherden.
But while the new additions are exciting, let's not forget the plethora of stars that could be on show during the game.
Two-time Brownlow medalist Nat Fyfe is likely to see his share of game time for the Dockers, along with 2020 NAB AFL Rising Star Caleb Serong.
Fan-favourite Nic Naitanui will no doubt give Eagles fans a show, along with the likes of Luke Shuey, Elliott Yeo and Tim Kelly.
The game is expected to draw thousands to Mandurah, in what will also be a boon for local businesses.
It will be played on Sunday, March 7 with the first bounce scheduled for 4.10pm.
