With a rough sleeper count in March identifying 84 people living on the streets, the need for a 24 hour support service has become a priority for PeelConnect.
The 24/7 response, would provide immediate access to mentoring, support and counselling for those experiencing homelessness in Mandurah.
PeelConnect chairman Ron Withnell said the service would be a great addition to the assistance the organisation already provides.
"If the police pick up someone or find someone that needs some help we can send somebody out there to help straight away," he said.
"We have fully qualified counsellors and mentors who have all been trained and would be able to help immediately.
"That is our main aim with the 24/7 response."

But with PeelConnect in high demand due to the global pandemic, Mr Withnell said it had been difficult to find funding to run the organisation let alone a new service.
"All of our people on the front line are all volunteers and we currently have up to 70 appointments a month," he said.
"We are also only open two days a week because we don't have enough funding at the moment."
Mr Withnell said this lack of funding had made it hard to get the 24/7 service running.
"The timing of the service is what we have to look at now," he said.
"We are trying to work out how we can run the 24 hour service because we run on volunteers and we are only currently open two days a week.
"We are looking at wherever there is a funding opportunity but it is far and few between and everyone is looking for funding right now - The government only has a purse so big."
