Mandurah police are zeroing in on hoons in the city's southern patch.
Several complaints from residents in the Dawesville area have sparked increased targeted patrols from local officers, as they look to shut down any misuse of the roads.
"We received a few reports from concerned residents about hoon activity in that area, so we've increased patrols," Mandurah Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Tammie Pring said.
"We're just looking to get more of a presence in the area."
That increased presence resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old Dawesville woman on Saturday night.
The woman's vehicle was seized at 10.38am, along with 14 grams of cannabis found in the white sedan.
Anyone who witnesses hoon activity can make a report at crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
