The Pinjarra Community Men's Shed will share in a federal government program to support upgrades.
The National Shed Development Program supports men's sheds around the country by providing grants for health and wellbeing events, shed improvements and equipment.
Receiving a grant of $2914, Pinjarra Men's Shed will use the funding to install eye wash systems and a chemical storage cabinet to improve safety for members.
Canning MP Andrew Hastie said the Pinjarra Men's Shed was an important part of the local community.
"Bob, Rob, Luka and the guys out at the Pinjarra Men's Shed are leaders in our community," he said.
"They are making an important contribution to the health and wellbeing of Pinjarra.
"I'm really pleased their continued work has been recognised through this grant."

"In many parts of the bush, local men's sheds are fast becoming one of the most important organisations, one where members make connections and serve their community."
