The Peel Community Kitchen will share in vital funding as part of Lotterywest's COVID-19 Relief Fund.
The Mandurah service will receive $30,000 to assist with their work across the Peel region.
It will help the Kitchen to support the immediate needs of people experiencing homelessness, unemployment and financial hardship.
Mandurah MP David Templeman visited the Peel Community Kitchen this week to thank volunteers for their work.
Mr Templeman said the funding would help the Kitchen in its efforts to reduce vulnerability and disadvantage across the region.
"Peel Community Kitchen is a fantastic local organisation - this funding will mean they're able to do more vital work supporting vulnerable people here in Mandurah," he said.
"Organisations like Peel Community Kitchen have had to adapt swiftly to the changes caused by COVID, so that they can continue helping and supporting our community.
"I'd encourage Mandurah organisations supporting people impacted by COVID to contact Lotterywest about grant funding under this scheme."
The Peel Community Kitchen is just one of a number of WA organisations to benefit from the $159 million COVID-19 Relief Fund, which was established in March.
The grants aim to help groups working to support people through the global pandemic.
