Mandurah's wet weather looks set to ease off just in time for the weekend after rain drenched the city on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The city has been showered with more than 10mm of rain since 9am on Wednesday, with winds as high as 95 kilometres per hour hitting at midday.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting storms to continue through Thursday morning, but expects the weather to ease late in the afternoon heading into a much clearer Friday.
A severe weather warning was issued by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) for Mandurah, but has since been recalled.
The wet weather bumps Mandurah's rainfall for the month to just shy of 50mm through the first 17 days of June.
That figure remains on track to hit below the monthly average of 118mm, but more rain is expected to hit early next week with Monday forecast to produce up to 20mm.
