A 21-year-old man from Dudley Park has been charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated armed robbery after two incidents in Halls Head yesterday afternoon.
Police will allege around 4pm, a man entered a fast food store on Peelwood Parade and threatened staff, demanding cash from a nearby register.
It will be further alleged the man stole a sum of cash before exiting the store and walking towards the Halls Head shops.
Police will allege the second incident took place around 5:20pm at a hardware store on Rutland Drive, Halls Head.
It will be alleged the man entered the store, selected an item and when paying for the item, made threats to staff and demanded cash from the register.
No one was injured during either of the incidents.
The man is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday, 31 May 2020.
