headspace Mandurah community engagement officer Claire Chilvers said the challenge was a fitness, health and mental health initiative.
"We really want to encourage people to do something that is positive for their mental health during this time," she said.
"When you register you can create a team or do it individually and can nominate either our Mandurah centre or headspace national to receive the fundraising money.
"People can also look at joining existing teams if they don't want to do the challenge on their own."
Participants logon to an online tracker to bank their push-ups and receive an alert with the number of push-ups for that day and a bit of information about mental health.
The organisation offer youth mental health services and counselling for people aged between 12 and 25 years.
"We are still encouraging people to email or call us to get mental health intervention during this time," Ms Chilvers said.
"We are providing more information on our headspace Mandurah facebook to interact with local people as well."
