A 29-year-old man has been charged with 24 offences after an alleged police chase through Rockingham, Mandurah and Bunbury on Tuesday.
It is alleged just before 3pm on April 24, the man was riding a motorcycle along Kwinana Freeway when he failed to stop for police at the intersection of Karnup Road.
It is further alleged the man sped away and exited the freeway on Mandjoogoordap Road and travelled through a number of residential suburbs including Mandurah, Greenfields and Coodanup.
The Police Airwing monitored his movements for around two hours as he headed towards Bunbury, where he allegedly abandoned the motorcycle and stole a Mitsubishi Outlander.
The man collided with a police car before he abandoned the car and fled on foot. He was quickly arrested by police.
The man, of no fixed address, has been charged with 14 traffic offences relating to the incident, and 10 other charges relating to drug and weapon offences.
