A new "heat map" launched by WA Health today shows a total of 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases currently residing in the City of Mandurah.
The online tool - which can viewed by anyone at healthywa.gov.au - was announced on Wednesday by WA health minister Roger Cook.
The aim of the map is to give people in Western Australia a means to see how many cases reside in which local government areas across the state, with it currently showing 16 in the Mandurah boundary as of Wednesday, April 1.
Neighbouring local government areas have also been hit by the virus, with 10 confirmed cases in the City of Rockingham and three in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale.

So far the heat map shows no confirmed cases in the Shire of Murray.
"The heat map is a graphical representation of COVID-19 case data, to give Western Australian a quick impression of the location of cases," Mr Cook said.
"The map, which has been developed by the Department of Health, will highlight confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state.
"Importantly, only Western Australian cases will be displayed, excluding numbers from cruise ships and other non-WA cases.
"The map will not reveal the exact location of individual cases, ensuring patient confidentiality.
The map will be updated daily, as new confirmed case figures roll in.
Minister Cook confirmed WA had recorded 28 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the state's total to 392.
He also announced a change to the current coronavirus testing criteria, with all WA residents experiencing a high fever and acute respiratory illness now eligible for testing.
This differs from the previous policy set in place that required someone to have been in contact with an overseas traveler before being eligible for testing, and will come into effect on Thursday, April 2.
