Workshops to inform the community about the upcoming container deposit scheme have been cancelled due to the spread of coronavirus and associated risks.
All information sessions scheduled in March, April and May, including one in Pinjarra and another in Mandurah, will not go ahead.
Residents who had registered to attend, as well as stakeholders, will be notified of the changes.
Organisers, Containers for Change, are working to implement alternative communications to replace the face-to-face meetings, which have been cancelled until further notice.

WA Reduce Reuse Recycle Limited chief executive Tim Cusack said the organisation had already hosted 10 sessions, with another 36 scheduled to run across the state until May 7.
"These 36 Containers for Change community information sessions are now cancelled until further notice," he said.
"Due to growing concerns over community transmission of the coronavirus and the premium we at Containers for Change place on the public's health, we made the decision to cancel upcoming information sessions.
"We will be making alternative arrangements to ensure we continue to provide all West Australians with the opportunity to find out how to get the most out of Containers for Change."
Western Australia's Container Deposit Scheme will be officially launched on June 2 with each eligible drink container returned to an authorised Containers for Change refund point worth a 10-cent refund.
There will be more than 170 refund points across the state commencing operation later this year, with at least four in the Peel region by the time the scheme launches.
