MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Julie Anglesey started up her home business, Renovating Made Easy, at Make Place three years ago.
Julie chose to operate her business out of the shared work space because of its fun and socially nurturing atmosphere, and the chance to be surrounded by like-minded people to lift her energy and help her grow.
She found being surrounded by other entrepreneurs and small business owners inspiring - she was able to converse with them, bounce ideas off them and get invaluable free advice.
Julie now runs her own workshops out of Make Place after using subsidies to get her project off the ground, and collaborates with other members on workshops including interior design and website development.
Karen Lyons is a member of The Makers.
