Yoga and meditation instructors and enthusiasts from across the country are set to converge on the South West ahead of the third annual Yoga Festival this month.
The three-day festival, which runs from March 20 to 22, will feature various forms of yoga and meditation, workshops, wellness talks, music, artisan markets and food for those of all ages.
The festival was founded by Starr Light Yoga owner Heather Starr, who dreamt of bringing a large scale yoga event to the state's event capital.
As one of the fastest growing wellness activities in the country, Mrs Starr said it was only a matter of time before the South West had a dedicated yoga event of its own.
Proceeds from the event go directly to providing local schools with free yoga classes, including students from Cape Naturaliste College and Busselton Senior High School.
"The feedback on these classes from students, teachers, parents and administration has been excellent," Mrs Starr said.
"The long-term goal of the festival is to see Meditation and Yoga and Mindfulness brought into the curriculum across Western Australian schools.
"The South West Yoga Fest is not a registered non-profit, but instead runs as a sustainable philanthropic business."
This year the festival, which will be held at Solitaire Homestead in Yallingup, is offering on site self-camp and glamping packages and has been featured in Jetstar's inflight international magazine.
Mrs Starr extended thanks to the event's sponsors, including the City of Busselton, Yoga Australia, Dunsborough Think Water, Events West, Meelup Beach Hire & SUP School, Wild Goose Camping as well as many international sponsors such as Punchpass, Blackroll and Lululemon Athletica.
South West Yoga Festival has secured more than $4000 in product giveaways to give out throughout the event, from Lululemon and BlackRoll Australia.
An attendee's name will be drawn every hour of the festival.
There are also more than $4500 worth of silent auction and raffle prizes from local businesses to be won throughout the festival.
