A collection of Mandurah youngsters scaled the heights at the WA State Lead Climbing Competition in Perth last weekend, bringing home a bundle of new silverware.
Mandurah Indoor Rock Climbing fielded several competitors at the event, with coaches Nicole and Zed Colback leading the young guns to nine podium finishes.
Nicole herself took out top spot in the open B women's division, while fellow Mandurah climber Marianne Hancock claimed second.
In the youth B boys it was Hugo Young, Harry Menzies and Nash Larnach pulling off a clean sweep for Mandurah, while George Young, Aaron Thow and Dexter McDonald did the same in the D-grade.
Jodie Throw rounded out the good results with third in the youth D girls.
The group will now turn their attention to preparing for the national competition, which will take place in Melbourne this May.
