A man and woman who were airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a car rollover in Pinjarra yesterday afternoon are in stable condition.
A Royal Perth Hospital spokeperson this morning confirmed the duo were no longer in a life-threatening condition following the single-car crash that happened on South Western Highway near Morrell Road, in Fairbridge about 2:30pm.
It is understood their hatchback rolled onto its roof and trapped them inside.
The RAC Rescue helicopter and career and volunteer firefighters used hydraulic equipment to cut them free from the wreck.
South Western Highway, was closed in both directions, between Fairbridge and Del Park Roads, for most of the evening but has since been reopened.
