Mandurah's best young performers and creatives are busy with their last-minute rehearsals as they prepare to bring a Shakespeare comedy to life this week.
Under the direction of local artist Ruby Liddelow from Ruby Spinning Arts, the team of more than 25 under 25's from the Peel region have created an independent outdoor theatre project set to knock the audiences' socks off.
Following a successful performance in the Quarry Adventure Park amphitheatre in Meadow Springs last year, 2020 promises to be even better with As You Like It.
What lurks in the Bard's bush this summer? A tale of brother banishing brother, women pretending to be men pretending to be women, love octagons and a whole lot more.
Created, performed, crewed, produced and directed exclusively by young people, the show is a funky, fresh, edgy and whimsical re-imagining of Shakespeare's classic comedy.
The show will take to the outdoor amphitheatre at Meadow Springs' Quarry Adventure Park at 7pm each night from January 15 to 19.
Audiences are encouraged to arrive by 6.40pm for a 7pm start as seating is not reserved or provided.
The show is free however, there will be an option to pay what you think the show deserves after it finishes. It is recommended for parental guidance due to mild language and themes.

The production is supported by Drug Aware, Healthaway, Regional Arts WA and Shape Mandurah's Community Soup grant.
