It's the hottest new venue in town, and yet, many Mandurah residents don't even know Scott's Garage exists.
With priceless views overlooking the iconic Mandurah waterways, the building above Spur's Steak Ranch on the eastern foreshore is now officially open for business.
After being empty for almost 14 years, this hidden gem now acts as both a co-working and events space.
The newly activated building boasts good vibes inside a chic industrial fit out - and it is the vision of two driven, young Mandurah entrepreneurs.
Lost x Found Community co-founders, Nic Bevan and Ollie Bazzani, said the idea for the pop-up space had been on their minds for over a year.
"Lxf floats around, it is based out of our homes and cafes, so we thought maybe there was an opportunity to have a core space that we can work from," Nic said.
"But then can also house some of the amazing people that we have connected with over the years."
Ollie added that the long-term dream for Scott's Garage goes back to the roots of the inspiration - to connect young creatives in a common place.
"It's the perfect recipe to spin off even more exciting initiatives across Mandurah and the larger community," he said.
"It's bringing people together to create that identity around what the creative industries are in Mandurah and a space where people can just experiment and have a good time while doing it and then connect the community into that.
"What better space to do that then here in an under utilised, empty space with an iconic view of Mandurah."
And the name? Well, that pays homage to a piece of Mandurah's history.
"We went to the Mandurah Community Museum and we were reading old interviews and researching, like in the movies," Ollie laughed.
"We had no idea about this site and the history of it, but it is iconic as the Scott's Garage site because the Scott brothers were known for their work in the community.
"The facade out the front is still the original art deco kind of look but not many people know about that story.
"So for us, if we can pay homage to that history while shaping the future of Mandurah, that really excites us."
Mandurah mayor Rhys Williams said he was "really passionate" about activating public spaces throughout the city, and was excited to see Scott's Garage take off.
"I think these are the exact sort of community-led initiatives we need that activate the city centre and really promote that sense of vibrancy," he said.
"I acknowledge the team from Lost x Found for getting this project off the ground in what has been a vacant space in Mandurah for a long time.
"I love that they've tied it back to the initial roots of that site being Scott's Garage.
"Council are hoping it will be a success because we want to see more of these things."
