The public speaking competition requires year 10 students to talk about a subject of their choice that is important in society.
Four students made it to this year's state final - the 18th WA state title since the competition was adopted throughout the state in 2003.
Mt Lawley Senior High School student Suu Kyi Kwang was crowned the winner after her powerful speech, titled Racial Stereotyping.
She hopes to pursue a career in the medical and creative fields to challenge both her interests and strengths.
Closer to home, Mandurah Catholic College student Reef Liddington gave the audience something to think about with his speech, Man Up - It's Okay to Speak Up.
Reef, who is very health aware and spends much of his free time playing sports and training, hopes to achieve his certificate in electrotechnology and become a qualified electrician.
Rossmoyne Senior High School student Elise Hilder spoke on Voluntary Euthanasia. A very involved member of her school community, Elise is a keen debater, photographer and musician.
Paige Littlefair, a student at Nagle Catholic College, recited her speech, Medicinal Cannabis.
Following months of treatment for an accident that left her clinically dead and in a coma at just 13, the ambitious teenager is very determined to make an impact on the world.
