Students from Coodanup College are gearing up to host this month's Getaway Youth Pop Up Markets, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The event, which has long been an initiative for students studying a Certificate lll in Micro Business Operations, will be held on Sunday, November 17.
The market has been running once a month since May at Coodanup's Frasers Landing Sales Centre, with stalls open to youth under the age of 25. It will be the last one for the year.
Under the guidance of facilitator Paul Litwin, the year 11 students have been responsible for creating a business, marketing, advertising and providing a great opportunity for our local community to come together.
There have been a variety of products for sale at the markets including glassware, cheeseboards, succulents, soaps, jewellery, books, arts and crafts. These, plus many more, will also be available at Sunday's event.
There will also be face painting, live entertainment, balloons and food trucks as well as a competition for the most innovative and creative stall holder under the age of 13 with $150 up for grabs.
It promises a free and fun day out for the whole family.
The market will be held from 10am-1pm as part of a soft launch of Global Global Entrepreneurship Week - a celebration of innovators who dream big and launch start-ups that bring ideas to life
The public is welcome to attend. To host a stall, send the Facebook page a direct message.
