The recently opened $60 million Halls Head Commercial Centre has sprung to life with the first retailers completing their initial months trading and reporting positive results.
The Halls Head Commercial Centre is located next to Bunnings Warehouse and has significantly expanded the precinct and its retail offerings.
The new centre and Bunnings have been developed by Cape Bouvard Investments to support regional economic growth in the fast growing Halls Head area and provide convenient access to services whilst leveraging the high volume of passing traffic.
Vinnies were the first retail outlet to commence trading in August, closely followed by national automotive parts store Repco.
Hot on their heels, the latest tenant nearing fitout completion is a bicycle retailer, Giant Mandurah, with local business owners Saskia and Jason opening a new Giant Bicycles concept store in the Halls Head Centre in December.
Cape Bouvard Manager Tristan Cribb said he was pleased with the level of interest being shown from potential future retailers.
"The first retailers to open are reporting good trading figures which is excellent news for them, and is helping negotiations with a number of interested parties for further tenancies," he said.
The Halls Head Commercial Centre has created a new destination for residents in the nearby catchment to shop locally for a broad range of goods, expanding the already established shopping precinct which is home to Bunnings Warehouse and just a few minutes to Coles, Kmart and Aldi.
