One of Mandurah's most iconic buildings, and the town's first-ever hotel, is up for sale.
The Brighton Hotel was founded in 1894 by Mandurah pioneer Charles Tuckey, who intended to use it as a family home.
In October of 1895 it became Mandurah's first Hotel and has been trading since then.
The restaurant and bar has changed hands a number of times before Garry Miller took over management almost two years ago.
Ryan McGinnity, who has been appointed to sell the property through CBRE Hotels, said Mr Miller had invested in facility upgrades.
He said the venue was suited to a hands-on operator that would leverage Mandurah's growing population to further boost profitability.
