The Pinjarra Trotting Club officially opened their new race day stalls and celebrated their 2018/19 season awards winners at a function late last month.
Around 70 guests converged on the club for their annual Alcoa Family Fun Day on Monday, September 30, as they cut the ribbon on what has been a lengthy and exciting project for the Paceway.
Ryan Warwick proved the big winner in the awards, taking out both the driver and UDR driver of the year awards in a clean sweep of the categories.
Greg and Skye Bond both shared the trainer of the year honours, while Mike Reed was announced UDR trainer of the year.
Might Conqueror (pacer of the year) and One Bid Buys (trotter of the year) were the pick of the horses, while Deni Roberts (junior driver of the year) and Merv Cox (club person of the year) were presented awards.
Member for Murray-Wellington Robyn Clarke wound down proceedings with the official opening of the new stalls.
