Foodbank Peel has teamed up with indoor trampoline park, Flip Out Mandurah, for a unique campaign to help those less fortunate this holiday season.
As part of the Reverse Advent Calendar project, Mandurah locals are encouraged to donate certain items each week for the 12 weeks leading up to Christmas.
Running from October 7 throughout the silly season, everything from bon bons to Christmas puddings, fruit mince pies and tinned fruit can be dropped into Flip Out's big purple donation bin, located in the cafe.
The huge hamper full of food and essentials will then be handed over to Foodbank Peel to help families in need fill their tables with delicious Christmas goodies.
Foodbank Peel branch manager Megan Reynolds said the campaign was the first of its kind in the Peel region.
"So instead of you getting a choccy, we are asking you to bring in a goody for Foodbank to help families experiencing food insecurity this Christmas," she said.
"We have an increase every year with families experiencing hardship and we're seeing it even more this year.
"So many families are going without and unfortunately, 22 per cent of the people coming through are children experiencing food insecurity.
"Why should anyone miss out or go without over Christmas? Foodbank is trying to provide an opportunity for everyone to have a magical Christmas."

Flip Out Mandurah owner Michael Smith said he and his team were excited to be a part of something so important.
"It's the time of year for giving and we want all families to be happy at this time of year," he said.
"Mandurah is a small community really so everyone needs to come together to pitch in.
"Not everyone can afford to have food on the table so it's great Foodbank are there to help out and we always try our best as well to help out the families of Mandurah."
