"Action" Jackson England took his winning record into double figures as he claimed his 10th professional victory at Perth's Thunderdome 32 last Friday night.
The Mandurah-based boxer and current Australian super featherweight title holder was a powerhouse on his way to a unanimous points decision win over Fijian fighter Krishnil Mudaliar, leading him to the milestone.
England opened the bout with a flurry of blows to immediately put the more lengthy Mudaliar on the back foot, using his speed and power to take an early advantage in round one.
His opponent looked to turn things around with some smart adjustments, but the 21-year-old star refused to relent, continuing to land several devastating shots in a prolific showing.
A particularly shattering blow was landed in the fifth, as England connected with a devastating left hook to wobble Mudaliar.
From there the shining WA prospect was able to cruise to the victory, taking the win unanimously in his first fight in six months.
England was elated with his performance.
"I was really happy with how the fight panned out," he said.
"I went at him hard early on and from there it was apparent he wasn't going to try and fight fire with fire, so I just had to keep pressing.
"Then I was able to connect with a few different shots, wobble him a couple of times and come away with the win, so I was really stoked with how the fight turned out."
The bout was England's first in some time, following the cancellation of a fight he was scheduled to appear in over in the United Kingdom.
"Overall I was just rapt to be back in the ring," he said.
"To see all the support I have come out and cheer me on, including some of the people that came over to the UK and weren't able to catch the fight, it was awesome."
The Australian champ now heads back to training in preparation for a bout in Sydney in three weeks time, which will see him taking on another international fighter as he looks for an 11th win.
"To reach 10 wins is pretty amazing, and it definitely opens a few more doors for me," he said.
"Now I just want to keep that rolling, keep fighting well and make sure I stay true to the path."
The fight will be held at St Mary's Band Club.
