Little monsters and their guardian ghouls will have the opportunity to experience a Halloween like no other this year as a famous Mandurah haunted house undergoes a terrifying transformation.
The frightening family behind the old Meadow Springs Asylum are preparing to go "bigger and better" in 2019, moving the attraction to a unit in Greenfields that will now be known as the Fright Factory.
For the last 17 years, Loretta Westcott has taken the skeletons from out of her closet and put them on display in her home to scare those brave enough to step foot inside.
Featuring spooky ornaments, robotic figurines, zombies, mummies and smoke machines, her collection is said to be worth more than $35,000 and puts her house on the map of Halloween hotspots every October.
But Ms Westcott said this year was going to be "even more awesome".
"It's a bigger and better set up at our factory unit in Greenfields," she said.
"We've got a proper walk through, more scarers and more fun.
"We'll also have a pop-up stall with a lot of homemade crafts up for sale from Halloween and gothic inspired pens, dolls, jewellery, bath salts and bath bombs.
"And, if everything goes according to plan, we're hoping to have a pumpkin carving competition as well."

Spooking every night from October 25-November 7, adults will be able to enter the Fright Factory for $10 and kids for $5.
Ms Westcott said there would be something for everyone to enjoy, including plenty of candy for happy haunts.
"It's so fun, I like scaring people and kids love trick or treating," she said.
"Some nights there will be food there so you don't have to feel like you need to rush in, have a quick look and then get home to do tea - you can stay and have a good look around, have a feed, enjoy the night.
"We're still looking for volunteers to help out, scare, run the stalls and do tickets. They don't have to do every night, just a couple if they want."
This year's eerie evening events will again raise money for HorsePower Murray Mandurah, formerly known as Riding for the Disabled Murray Mandurah.
The Fright Factory will run every night from 6pm-9.30pm on October 25 until November 2. It is located at unit 3/9 Rouse Road in Greenfields.
