Local artists will flaunt their works in a bid to win some of the $30,000 prize purse on offer as part of the newly formed Bodding Sculpture Competition.
The initiative, fostered by the Shire of Boddington, aims to encourage aspiring local artists to showcase their work around the Peel region town.
Internationally renowned artist and Boddington local Len Zuks will be part of the judging panel for the competition, having taken up the challenge of artist in resident for his home town.
Zuks will also be creating his own work for the street art precinct, as the town aspires to become the sculpture capital of Western Australia.
Artists can enter their work in the Boddington Sculpture Competition until October 1, 2019.
Entries are to be submitted online, with more information available at boddington.wa.gov.au
Works will be displayed throughout the Boddington town site from November 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
