A female teenager has been taken to Peel Health Campus after a car she was travelling in collided with another vehicle in West Pinjarra on Monday afternoon.
WA police confirmed the incident happened about 1.05pm at the corners of Greenlands Road and Forrest Highway.
Early reports indicated a female was trapped in her vehicle and the RAC Rescue Helicopter was sent to the scene.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said the helicopter was not needed and the teenager was taken to Peel Health Campus with non life-threatening injuries.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services also attended, with motorists initially advised to avoid the area if possible.
