An eight-goal blitz from Ben Higgs secured Baldivis their sixth consecutive victory as they stormed past Halls Head for a 22.10 (142) to 10.8 (68) victory on Sunday afternoon.
The power forward nailed six of his majors in the first half to set up a big win for his side, as they were on fire from the outset.
Higgs booted the first of the day to spark a seven to two-goal run in the first term, with Josh Branchi and Sam Eccles also firing as the Brumbies cantered to a 30-point lead at the first break.
Kyren Gavin responded for the Lightning as he slotted the first of the second term, but Baldivis would go on to kick the next seven in a devastating run for the visitors.
More PFNL:
By half time the ladder-leaders led by 54 points, and a pair of Blaine Johnson goals helped extend their lead in the third.
Travis Sexton and Jared Middleton were both in good form for Halls Head as they tried to will their side back into contention, but the Lightning fell short of keeping pace with a red-hot Brumbies side.
Baldivis would go on to score a further eight goals to Halls Head's five in the second half, securing their eighth victory on the season.
The win keeps the Brumbies atop the PFNL ladder through 10 rounds, a position they will look to maintain when they clash with Waroona next week.
Meanwhile Halls Head will be eager to bounce back when they take on Rockingham.
