Mandurah Police charge two men over alleged assault on fresh produce seller

Mandurah Police have charged two men following an alleged assault on an elderly man setting up a fresh produce stall in Smart Street Mall on the weekend.

Police allege the incident happened about 4am on Saturday.

Mandurah District Senior Sergeant Darren Hart said a 19-year-old Secret Harbour man has been charged with behaving in a disorderly manner, aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm and stealing.

He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on July 5.

A 20-year-old Port Kennedy man has been charged with behaving in a disorderly manner, stealing and damage.

His court date is yet to be set.
