Halo Team Inc is preparing to open the doors of their new community op shop on June 4 after the not-for-profit organisation outgrew its previous store.
Started by Dee Freitag in 2014, the local charity assists the community with issues including homelessness, financial struggle and domestic violence.
The Halo Team use the funds received from the sale of second hand goods at their op shop to offer a range of essential services.
Volunteer Paris Packer said they were being inundated with donations for the op shop, prompting the need to expand into a bigger premises.
Now located at 3 Gibson Street in central Mandurah, Ms Packer said it was a long process to secure the location but worth the effort.
Everyone was very hopeful that we would get this big but we didn't know if we could actually do it.

"We wanted to expand because we were getting too small for the other place and because we wanted to do more for the community," she said.
"We looked into expanding and we knew this place had been here for about four years so we contacted them and asked what we could do - we bargained and bargained and eventually got the place.
"Everyone was very hopeful that we would get this big but we didn't know if we could actually do it."
Ms Packer, who has been volunteering with Halo for about a year, said there were a number of benefits to the new, bigger location including its close proximity to the city centre.
"Having a space like this with the space for the op-shop but also to deal with clients in private means we can actually do proper welfare work and accommodate to clients' needs properly in a professional way," she said.
"It's also right across from our soup kitchen which is great and will make things a lot easier there and its much more visible.
"We were also getting bigger staff and volunteer-wise and more well-known which is amazing because that's what we need because we want to do more."

Halo founder and chief executive Dee Freitag said she was excited for what the future holds for helping those at risk or in need in the Peel region.
"The amount of people we could help with 240 square metres, we had such a tiny little space there and we could help so many people while still running the op-shop ... let's see how we go with 600 square metres now," she said.
"I never expected to be expanding like this but it was a relief when we got accepted.
"I like what we can do now."
Ms Packer praised the work of her dedicated leader who works tirelessly for the Mandurah community.
"It's amazing that Dee has done something like this and gets to expand it and become a lot bigger," she said.
"There's no doubt in any of our minds that she deserves it because she is just an amazing woman, she doesn't stop.
"We want people to know that this is where we are now and we're ready to help and if you want to volunteer, come down and give us a hand, come on this journey with us."
The Halo Team thanked all the businesses and volunteers who have donated their time and services to help renovate the building in time for the opening.
The new op shop at 3 Gibson Street will be open from 9am on Tuesday, June 4, with a grand opening planned for July. For more information, visit the Halo Team Facebook page.
